Add a new trip using the mobile app

You can create a trip for any travel type by forwarding your vendor confirmation or by manually entering your travel information.

Forward your plans:

Forward a travel confirmation email to plans@tripit.com. That's it! We'll do the rest!  

Create your trip manually:

If you don't have a confirmation email or if your submission to plans@tripit.com failed, you can add your itinerary manually to your TripIt account. 

1. On the Trips page, tap (+) located at the bottom right for Android and (...) located at the top right for iOS.
2. Select Create a Trip.               
3. Enter your high-level trip details than tap Save.
4. Add a plan by tapping + (bottom right of Android) or the floating action button (bottom right of iOS).
5. Tap Add a Plan.
6. Select the type of plan you want to add and we'll walk you through the rest.
